Dr. Jie Zong has worked at NP Photonics Inc. since 2001. He is highly capable of providing innovative technical and engineering solutions and guidance to engineering teams having  transferred technology to commercial product realization successfully with over thirty years of industry experience in technology development and engineering solutions for opto-mechanical and opto-electronic design and packaging. He is a highly experienced and skilled engineering leader and has directed many teams of scientists, engineers and technicians, overseeing the design, development and testing of a variety of fiber optical products and projects including glass and fibers, fiber lasers, fiber optical amplifiers, and others though full life cycles with a proven track record. Dr. Jie Zong holds a Ph.D and MS in Physics from the University of Arizona.
